Amends TCA Section 2-10-121.
Present law requires each multicandidate political campaign committee registered with the registry of election finance to pay an annual registration fee to be determined by the bureau of ethics and campaign finance by rule. This requirement does not apply to any statewide political party or subsidiaries of the political party. <br /> <br /> This bill removes the exemption from paying the registration fee for a statewide political party campaign committee and its subsidiaries. This bill also clarifies that payment of the fee by one affiliated political campaign committee or statewide political party includes any disclosed affiliated committees or disclosed subsidiaries, respectively.<br /> <br />
