ON FEBRUARY 28, 2019, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 1241, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #1 limits this bill's authorization for the state board of education to extend the six-year review period to only the subjects of English language arts and mathematics, and only one time for a period not to exceed three years.<br /> <br />
