ON MARCH 15, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 1258, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds a requirement that members of the public not be permitted to operate any antique coin machine that is displayed in public in order for the ownership, possession, purchase, or sale of such machine to qualify for this bill's exception to present law, which generally makes it a Class B misdemeanor to possess a gambling device.
