ON MARCH 29, 2021, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 368, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds that for the record to be confidential under this bill, the incident must not have resulted in a charge of delinquency. This amendment also adds to the persons who may access the record a law enforcement officer of another jurisdiction who requests the record when necessary for the discharge of the law enforcement officer's official duties. ON APRIL 12, 2021, THE SENATE SUBSTITUTED HOUSE BILL 368 FOR SENATE BILL 1598, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 368, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 makes a technical clarification to the directory language of House Amendment #1 and schedules this bill's provisions to terminate July 1, 2026. ON APRIL 15, 2021, THE HOUSE NONCONCURRED IN SENATE AMENDMENT #1. ON APRIL 21, 2021, THE SENATE REFUSED TO RECEDE IN ITS ACTIONS IN ADOPTING AMENDMENT #1. ON APRIL 27, 2021, THE HOUSE LIFTED THE TABLING MOTION, RECONSIDERED ITS ACTION IN NONCURRING IN SENATE AMENDMENT #1, AND CONCURRED IN SENATE AMENDMENT #1.
