ON APRIL 1, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 386, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 removes the requirement that the department of education accept out-of-state medical records evidencing a child's immunization for the purposes of attending school and provides instead that such records evidencing a child's immunization will be sufficient for the purposes of attending school or child care.
