Amends TCA Title 63, Chapter 4.

Under present law, the board of chiropractic examiners consists of five chiropractic physicians and two consumer members who are not affiliated with the practice of chiropractic, all of whom are appointed by the governor. This bill reduces the number of consumer members from two to one and provides instead for the appointment of a member who is a chiropractic X-ray technician or chiropractic therapy assistant and who has been certified in this state for not less than two years.
