Amends TCA Title 57, Chapter 4.
ON APRIL 15, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENTS #1 AND #2 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 486, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill and: (1) Classifies the following as premier type tourist resorts for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption: (A) Fat Daddy's Inc. and Brownfield Riverside Resort, both in Stewart County; (B) Mike's Hideaway Bar and Grill in Houston County; (C) B & B Marina in Bradley County; (D) River Breeze Drive-in in Knoxville; (E) The Sawbriar at Big South Fork and Highland Manor Winery, both in Fentress County; (F) Windy Hill Farm & Preserve in Loudon County; (G) Iroquois Club and Broadwest - Hotel/Condo, both in Davidson County. In regard to Broadwest, this amendment provides; (H) Springbrook County Club in Niota; (I) Orchard Farms in Williamson County; (J) Anakeesta Mountain Park in Gatlinburg; (K) Whispering Cove Marina in Blount County; and (L) Tims Ford Marina in Franklin County; (2) Classifies the following as a historic performing arts center for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption: The Roxy Theater in Clarksville; (3) Reclassifies South Jackson Civic Center in Tullahoma from a premier type tourist resort to a community theater for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption; (4) Classifies the following as a sports authority facility for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption: CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge; and (5) Classifies the following as a museum for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption: Glen Campbell Museum in Davidson County. AMENDMENT #2 makes changes to the description of Orchard Farms in Williamson County and removes authorization for such facility to obtain a retailer's license.
