Amends TCA Title 4; Title 33; Title 63; Title 67 and Title 68.

This bill waives fees for professional licenses from the following licensing authority for the period beginning July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2025:<br /> <br /> (1) Board of athletic trainers;<br /> <br /> (2) Board for professional counselors, marital and family therapists and clinical pastoral therapists;<br /> <br /> (3) Board of chiropractic examiners;<br /> <br /> (4) Board of communication disorders and sciences;<br /> <br /> (5) Board of communication disorders and sciences' council for hearing instrument specialists;<br /> <br /> (6) Board of dentistry;<br /> <br /> (7) Board of dietitians/nutritionists examiners;<br /> <br /> (8) Board of dispensing opticians;<br /> <br /> (9) Commissioner of health's electrolysis program;<br /> <br /> (10) Board of examiners for nursing home administrators;<br /> <br /> (11) Board of examiners in psychology;<br /> <br /> (12) Board of medical examiners;<br /> <br /> (13) Board of medical examiners' committee for clinical perfusion;<br /> <br /> (14) Board of medical examiners' committee on physician assistants;<br /> <br /> (15) Board of medical examiners' Tennessee advisory committee for acupuncture;<br /> <br /> (16) Board of nursing;<br /> <br /> (17) Board of occupational therapy;<br /> <br /> (18) Board of optometry;<br /> <br /> (19) Board of osteopathic examination;<br /> <br /> (20) Board of osteopathic examination's council of certified professional midwifery;<br /> <br /> (21) Board of pharmacy;<br /> <br /> (22) Board of physical therapy;<br /> <br /> (23) Board of podiatric medical examiners;<br /> <br /> (24) Reflexology practitioners' registration;<br /> <br /> (25) Board of respiratory care;<br /> <br /> (26) Board of social worker licensure;<br /> <br /> (27) Tennessee massage licensure board;<br /> <br /> (28) Board of veterinary medical examiners; and<br /> <br /> (29) Board of alcohol and drug abuse counselors.<br /> <br /> This bill also requires the licensing authorities listed in (1)-(29) to refund the portion of any licensure fee paid to the authority that is credited to a healthcare provider from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2025.<br />
