Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8; Title 29 and Title 39.
This bill states that the general assembly declares the following: (1) Tennessee is a bill of rights sanctuary state; (2) The Constitution of the United States, including the amendments, and the Constitution of Tennessee must be enforced according to the plain meaning of each word; and (3) The guaranteed rights in the United States Constitution do not come from the federal government and cannot be taken away by the federal government.
