Amends TCA Title 63.

This bill prohibits a person from using the title "anesthesiologist" or another title, abbreviation, or designation in connection with the person's name, occupation, or profession, to indicate or imply the person is a practicing anesthesiologist unless the person is: (1) A physician who: is actively licensed by the board of medical examiners or the board of osteopathic examination; has completed a residency in anesthesiology; and has a practice that is primarily limited to anesthesiology, including nerve block; or (2) A dentist licensed in this state who completed a residency program in anesthesiology at an accredited medical school in years 1963 through 1977.
