Amends TCA Section 57-3-802.

Present law authorizes retail food stores to obtain a license to see wine at the store. For purposes of a retail food store wine license, present law defines "retail food store" as an establishment that is open to the public that derives at least 20 percent of its taxable sales from the retail sale of food and food ingredients for human consumption and has retail floor space of at least 1,200 square feet. This bill redefines "retail food store" for purposes of a license to sell wine to also include an establishment that derives at least 20 percent of its taxable sales from the retail sale of food and food ingredients for human consumption and that is also a facility for the receipt, transfer, short-term storage, and dispatching of retail and other similar goods transported by vehicle that is at least 1,200 square feet, but no more than 15,000 square feet, and having inventory electronically available to the public on-site.
