Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 4.

Present law generally authorizes county registers to retain as commission five percent of state privilege taxes that the county registers collect and report; provided, however, that 52 percent of the five percent commission must be remitted to the state treasurer and credited to the general fund of the state. This bill removes the requirement that county registers remit 52 percent of their commissions to the state treasurer.
