Amends TCA Title 10, Chapter 7, Part 5.

Under this bill, information contained in reports submitted to the department of environment and conservation by commercial outfitters who provide commercial whitewater outfitter services will be treated as confidential and will not be open for inspection by members of the public. The information provided in such reports includes, among other items:<br /> <br /> (1) The actual number of rafting customers served during a calendar month by a commercial outfitter providing commercial whitewater outfitter services within the Ocoee River management zone;<br /> <br /> (2) The number of rafting customers served per month of the season for each section of the river within the Ocoee River management zone; and<br /> <br /> (3) Statements of income listing a commercial outfitter's monthly gross revenue generated from commercial whitewater outfitter services in the Ocoee River management zone during the calendar month for each section of the river, along with all available supporting documentation requested by the department of environment and conservation.<br /> <br /> The bill also classifies as confidential all bank or other financial records regarding a commercial outfitter's business conducted within the Ocoee River management zone that are subject to inspection by the department of environment and conservation.<br />
