Amends TCA Title 49 and Title 71.

This bill requires the department of human services, in consultation with the department of education, to administer a grant program, using temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) program funds, for LEAs to create the following positions: (1) Public school nurses; (2) Public school psychologists; (3) English language learner teachers for a public school; (4) English language learner translators for a public school; or (5) Public school social workers. This bill requires the department of human services to ensure that grant recipients are eligible for TANF. This bill will be repealed on July 1, 2026.
