Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.

Under present law, there is no statute of limitations for aggravated rape or rape if the victim was an adult at the time of the offense and notified law enforcement or the district attorney of the offense within three years of the offense taking place.<br /> <br /> This bill adds the following to the list of offenses for which there will be no statute of limitations in the circumstances described above:<br /> <br /> (1) Aggravated sexual battery;<br /> <br /> (2) Sexual battery;<br /> <br /> (3) Promoting prostitution;<br /> <br /> (4) Aggravated prostitution;<br /> <br /> (5) Public indecency when the offense is a felony offense;<br /> <br /> (6) Promoting travel for prostitution;<br /> <br /> (7) Trafficking for a commercial sex act;<br /> <br /> (8) Unlawful photographing in violation of privacy when the offense is a felony offense;<br /> <br /> (9) Conspiracy to commit any of the offenses listed;<br /> <br /> (10) Criminal attempt to commit any of the offenses listed;<br /> <br /> (11) Solicitation to commit any of the offenses listed; and<br /> <br /> (12) Facilitation of any the offenses listed.<br />
