Amends TCA Title 3, Chapter 17, Part 1; Title 48, Chapter 101, Part 5 and Title 49, Chapter 7, Part 21.

This bill revises various provisions regarding certification of certain documents of the department of state, as follows: This bill removes the requirement that the following documents be sworn to under penalty of perjury: (1) Annual event applications and other related documents, including financial accountings, under the Tennessee Nonprofit Gaming Law; (2) Applications for registration as an athlete agent, and other documents required under the Revised Uniform Athlete Agents Act. This bill revises other provisions of law that currently require the filing of an "affidavit" to instead require the filing of a "statement" and makes other similar changes.
