ON MARCH 7, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2054, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 changes from "hospital employee" to "attending or pronouncing physician in a hospital" the person who is authorized to file a death certificate under this bill.
