Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 21; Title 14; Title 58, Chapter 2 and Title 68.
Present law prohibits private businesses, governmental entities, schools, and LEAs from compelling or otherwise taking an adverse action against a person to compel the person to provide proof of vaccination if the person objects to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. Allowing a person to voluntarily provide proof of vaccination or proof of COVID-19 antibodies instead of a negative COVID-19 test in order to gain admission to a place of entertainment is not a violation under present law. This bill limits the present law exception for places of entertainment to those places of entertainment that do not receive public funds from the state or a local government.
