Amends TCA Title 4; Title 33; Title 37; Title 39; Title 40; Title 41 and Title 71.
ON MARCH 28, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2113, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds a requirement that the training selected by the departments pursuant to this bill must be submitted to, and approved by, the TBI's human trafficking advisory council. This amendment changes this bill's effective date from upon becoming a law for all purposes to upon becoming a law for purposes of implementation and January 1, 2023, for all other purposes.
