Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 27.
ON APRIL 6, 2022, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 2294, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #2 limits the amount that this bill would authorize counties to reimburse a county employee who opts out of insurance coverage to "15 percent of the total premium that would have otherwise been paid by a county" instead of "all or a portion of the insurance premium that would otherwise be paid by the county on behalf of the employee".
