Amends TCA Title 33.
ON APRIL 4, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2376, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill to require, beginning in 2024, the department to submit to the members of the general assembly, by February 15 of each year, a report of data collected related to the use of medication-assisted treatment for opiate addiction by department-funded providers in this state for the prior fiscal year. The report must include information on: (1) The use of medication-assisted treatment in department-administered recovery courts; and (2) Medication-assisted treatment paid for with grant dollars, direct or indirect appropriations, and expenditures of state and federal dollars.
