Amends TCA Title 7 and Title 65.
This bill requires the following to file, on or before July 1, 2022, a map or other information indicating the specific locations within the person's franchised area where the person offered advanced broadband internet service as of January 1, 2022:<br /> <br /> (1) Each person holding a franchise under the present law provisions governing overlapping franchises. The filing will be made to the applicable franchising authority;<br /> <br /> (2) Each person holding a state-issued franchise under the Competitive Cable and Video Services Act. The filing will be made to the public utility commission; and<br /> <br /> (3) Each certificated provider electing market regulation. The filing will be made to the regulatory commission.<br />
