As introduced, requires an inmate to be released on parole upon reaching the inmate's release eligibility date or subsequent parole hearing if the inmate has not been convicted of a prior criminal offense, was not convicted of a violent offense, sexual offense, or violent sexual offense, has successfully completed the programming recommended by the department of correction, and has not received a Class A or Class B disciplinary offense under department of correction policy within one year of the parole hearing.
