Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 29; Title 49 and Title 68.

This bill prohibits any person or entity from requiring an individual to obtain medical treatment that violates the individual's rights of conscience, specifically including any requirement that an individual receive a vaccination for COVID-19, provide proof of having received a vaccination for COVID-19, or wear a mask intended to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 if the requirement is:<br /> <br /> (1) A condition of employment instituted by the employer; or<br /> <br /> (2) A condition of enrollment instituted by a public or private elementary school, middle school, high school, college of applied technology, postsecondary vocational or technical school, or two-year or four-year college or university.<br /> <br /> This bill creates a private right of action against whereby an individual whose rights of conscience are violated based on the imposition a requirement that violated this bill may sue the person or entity who imposed the requirement. The court may award an individual who prevails in a claim under this bill with injunctive relief, damages, and reasonable attorney's fees.<br />
