ON MARCH 22, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 20, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 removes this bill's requirement that the department publish information concerning vaping on the department's website, so that this bill will only require the department of health, in coordination with the department of education, to disseminate information from the centers for disease control and prevention concerning the health effects and dangers of using vapor products to students in public middle schools, public junior high schools, and public senior high schools in this state.
