ON MARCH 15, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 119, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #2 clarifies that a person may apply for the lifetime sportsman license for adopted children within 36 months following the child's adoption, reduces the maximum age of eligibility from 14 to 13 years of age, and replaces the $200 license fee with a requirement that the fish and wildlife commission set the fee.
