Present law prohibits local governments from enacting, maintaining, or enforcing an ordinance or resolution that: (1) Controls the amount of rent charged for leasing private residential or commercial property; or (2) Requires a set-aside of low-income rental housing. This bill deletes such present law prohibitions.
