ON MARCH 11, 2021, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 345, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds to this bill and changes present law by requiring that, if the quarterly transport data is not adequate or available for the calculation of medicaid ambulance provider assessments, then the bureau of TennCare must use total transports submitted to the office of emergency medical services for calendar year 2020, instead of using such data for calendar year 2019.
