Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 12 and Title 56.
ON MARCH 17, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 685, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 requires that the requirement to inform the drivers under this bill must be fulfilled by providing a written notification to the driver that: (1) Requires the driver's signature; (2) Informs the driver that the driver's automobile insurance may not cover commercial uses; and (3) Recommends that the driver check with the driver's insurance provider as to whether commercial uses of the driver's personal vehicle are covered.
