Amends TCA Title 38; Title 39; Title 40; Title 43; Title 53 and Section 67-4-2802.
This bill:<br /> <br /> (1) Specifies that the following are not subject to seizure under the present law provisions governing confiscation of narcotic drugs: hemp; any isolates or derivatives of hemp (other than THC); and hemp-derived products that do not contain more than 0.3 percent of THC; and <br /> <br /> (2) Prohibits law enforcement or another person acting under the direction, supervision, or authority of law enforcement from searching a person based solely upon the odor of cannabis, including an odor of any emission produced only by the burning or vaporization of the cannabis plant.<br />
