Amends TCA Title 63.
Generally under present law, the minimum number of hours of required continuing education for a chiropractic physician is at least 12 hours in any calendar year. This bill specifies that: (1) A chiropractic physician may satisfy any or all annual continuing education hours through either physical attendance or via remote learning, at the discretion of the chiropractic physician; and (2) The board of chiropractic examiners is prohibited from denying accreditation to a continuing education course solely on the basis that an attendee may complete the course via remote learning or denying continuing education credit to a chiropractic physician for completing a course accredited by the board solely on the basis that the chiropractic physician attended the course via remote learning.
