Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 6.
This bill establishes a sales tax exemption for the following when sold between 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, and 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021, when sold by a business that employs 10 or fewer employees (a "small business"): (1) Items of tangible personal property with a sales price of $500 or less per item; and (2) Retail sales of food and drink by restaurants, limited service restaurants, event, music, or entertainment venues.
