Amends TCA Title 16, Chapter 2.

This bill creates 12 additional assistant district attorney general positions, six additional secretarial positions, two additional victim-witness coordinator positions, and two additional criminal investigator positions effective October 1, 2021. This bill requires: (1) The district attorneys general conference to prepare a report with recommendations regarding the judicial district placement of these new positions; and (2) The executive director of the conference to file the report with the speakers of the senate and the house of representatives. Upon the filing of the report, the district attorneys general recommended by the report to receive additional positions will be authorized to fill the positions.
