ON APRIL 18, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENTS #1, #2, #3, AND #4 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1689, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill and:<br /> <br /> (1) Classifies the following as premier type tourist resorts for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption:<br /> <br /> (A) The Grove at Williamson Family Farm in Rutherford County;<br /> <br /> (B) The Dwell Hotel in Hamilton County;<br /> <br /> (C) The Estate at Cherokee Dock in Wilson County;<br /> <br /> (D) Bolt Farm Treehouse in Marion County;<br /> <br /> (E) Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center;<br /> <br /> (F) Blue Mountanya The Resort in Carter and Johnson counties;<br /> <br /> (G) Tennessee Central Railway Museum in Nashville/Davidson County;<br /> <br /> (H) Starry Nightcap Tavern in Morgan County;<br /> <br /> (I) Center Hill Marina in DeKalb County;<br /> <br /> (J) Coffee Ridge in Unicoi County;<br /> <br /> (K) The Ruby Cora in Montgomery County;<br /> <br /> (L) Timberhawk Hall in Nashville/Davidson County;<br /> <br /> (M) West Harpeth Resort in Williamson County;<br /> <br /> (N) The Lost Sea Adventure in Monroe County;<br /> <br /> (O) Oaklawn Farms in Cumberland County;<br /> <br /> (P) Flatrock USA in Cumberland County;<br /> <br /> (Q) Casa Grande Restaurant in Cumberland County;<br /> <br /> (R) Fat Boys at Hidden Harbor Marina in DeKalb County;<br /> <br /> (S) Common House (3 locations: Knox County, Hamilton County, and Davidson County);<br /> <br /> (T) The Beeches/The Vineyard at the Beeches in Robertson County; <br /> <br /> (U) Twisted Oaks in DeKalb County; and<br /> <br /> (V) MoCo Brewing Project in Morgan County; and<br /> <br /> (2) Classifies the Bonnie Kate Theater in Carter County as a community theater for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #2 additionally classifies the following as premier type tourist resorts for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption:<br /> <br /> (A) Clarksville Country Club in Montgomery County;<br /> <br /> (B) Bumpus Marina in Stewart County;<br /> <br /> (C) Norton Creek Resort in Sevier County;<br /> <br /> (D) Cedar Creek Yacht Club in Wilson County; and<br /> <br /> (E) Grandview Experience Lodge, in Van Buren County.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #3 adds Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland as a premier type tourist resort for the purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #4 adjusts the present law description of the premier type tourist resort of Wildwood Resort and Marina.<br /> <br /> ON APRIL 25, 2022, THE SENATE SUBSTITUTED HOUSE BILL 1689 FOR SENATE BILL 1685 AND RESET HOUSE BILL 1689.<br /> <br /> ON APRIL 27, 2022, THE SENATE FURTHER CONSIDERED HOUSE BILL 1689, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #4, AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1689, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #4 (1) removes the provision that would classify the Dwell Hotel in Hamilton County as a premier type tourist resorts for purposes of the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.<br />
