Amends TCA Section 56-7-2903.

Present law requires the board of directors for Access Tennessee to annually submit to the commissioner of finance and administration and the comptroller a funding plan and a plan for operation of the Access Tennessee health insurance program and any amendments necessary or suitable to assure the fair, reasonable and efficient administration of the program and its financial solvency, based upon timely and accurate actuarial assumptions. The plan of operation becomes effective upon approval, in writing, by the commissioner and the comptroller. This bill removes the requirements that plans for Access Tennessee be submitted to, and approved by, the comptroller.
