ON MARCH 28, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2553, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds that an adult high school that provides virtual instruction to students must satisfy the instructional time requirements established for adult high schools by the state board of education and specifies that the provision of virtual instruction must be in accordance with the Virtual Public Schools Act.
