Amends TCA Section 49-6-1006.
ON APRIL 7, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENTS #1 AND #2 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2106, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 restores the responsibility for including multicultural diversity when developing frameworks and curricula to be taught at appropriate grade levels kindergarten through grade 12 to the state board of education. AMENDMENT #2 changes this bill's effective date from July 1, 2022, to July 1, 2025.
