Amends TCA Section 12-10-109 and Title 42.

This bill exempts motor vehicles from an airport parking fee collected or charged by a municipality or an airport authority, other than the federal government, if the vehicle displays a veteran or military award license plate and is operated by or for the transportation of an owner or lessee of the vehicle; a disabled veteran; or the owner or operator of a vehicle displaying a disabled veteran license plate issued by another state.<br /> <br /> The eligible military or memorial license plates for this exemption are the following:<br /> <br /> (1) Congressional Medal of Honor;<br /> <br /> (2) Distinguished Service Cross;<br /> <br /> (3) Navy Cross;<br /> <br /> (4) Air Force Cross;<br /> <br /> (5) Silver Star;<br /> <br /> (6) Distinguished Flying Cross;<br /> <br /> (7) Bronze Star (Valor);<br /> <br /> (8) Air Medal (Valor);<br /> <br /> (9) Holder of the Purple Heart;<br /> <br /> (10) Disabled Veteran,<br /> <br /> (11) Disabled Veteran (service-connected);<br /> <br /> (12) Former Prisoner of War;<br /> <br /> (13) Bronze Star (Meritorious);<br /> <br /> (14) Air Medal (Meritorious); and<br /> <br /> (15) Legion of Merit.<br />
