Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1.

This bill requires the department of education to develop and update quarterly a searchable database that includes the following information: (1) Each grant awarded to the department in the current fiscal year, with specific information, such as the dollar value of the grant and a brief description of the grant; (2) Each grant awarded by the department in the current fiscal year, with specific information, such as the dollar value of the grant and a brief description of the grant; (3) Each contract entered into by the department in the current fiscal year, with specific information such as the dollar value of the contract and a brief description of the terms of the contract. This bill requires the department of education to publish the database on the department's website through a prominent link provided on the home page, and requires each LEA to publish a link to the department's database on the LEA's website.
