ON APRIL 18, 2022, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2911, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds that the general law provisions governing the process for filing vacancies in county offices will govern the initial election for the two-year term in District 4 under this bill.
