ON APRIL 26, 2021, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND CONCURRED IN SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 518, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 deletes from the preamble the language that "during these sad and tragic times, let us rededicate ourselves to conquering COVID-19 through vaccination and education" and substitutes instead the language "during COVID-19, we are grateful for the continued support and aggressive attack from Tennesseans to beat this virus".
