ON MARCH 30, 2023, THE HOUSE SUBSTITUTED SENATE BILL 148 FOR HOUSE BILL 130, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 148, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #1 clarifies that the state board of equalization may direct that its review is not confined to the record. This amendment also clarifies that there will be no presumption of correctness of the state board's decision in a judicial review of such decision.<br />
