Amends TCA Title 14; Title 33; Title 37; Title 49; Title 50 and Title 68.

Present law prohibits governmental entities, schools, and LEAs from mandating that a person receives a COVID-19 vaccine. This bill makes such prohibition applicable to any vaccination that has not received full approval from the federal food and drug administration. For purposes of this bill, "full approval" does not include emergency use authorization.<br /> <br /> Present law prohibits governmental entities, schools, and LEAs from mandating that a private business or school require proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition to access the private business's or school's premises or facilities or to receive the benefits of the private business's or school's products or services.<br /> <br /> Present law generally prohibits a private business, governmental entity, school, or LEA from compelling or otherwise taking an adverse action against a person to compel the person to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination if the person objects to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine for any reason. Present law requires any employer who is exempt from such general prohibition and who requires a staff member to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or receive the COVID-19 vaccine to grant the staff member an exemption to the requirement if the staff member requests a medical exemption (supported by a physician's statement) or attests to a religious belief that prevents compliance.<br /> <br /> Present law also specifies that a person is not prohibited from requiring another person to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition to entering that person's personal residence for purposes of providing products or services.<br /> <br /> This bill makes the present law provisions described above that concern proof of COVID-19 vaccination applicable to all vaccinations.<br />
