Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13 and Title 39, Chapter 15.
As introduced, increases the maximum age for a victim of aggravated rape of a child from eight years of age to 12 years of age; changes the age for rape of a child from more than eight years of age but less than 13 years of age to more than 12 years of age but less than 18 years of age; increases the punishment for incest if the offense was committed against a child under 18 years of age from a Class C felony to a Class A felony punishable by a mandatory sentence of imprisonment for life without possibility of parole.
