ON APRIL 17, 2023, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 978, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #1 revises the text of the sign described in this bill to remove the classification of the offense and to refer to another statute in Tennessee Code Annotated.<br />
