ON APRIL 4, 2024, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 835, AS AMENDED.<br /> <br /> AMENDMENT #2 deletes the provision in the bill requiring the coordinator of elections to compare the statewide voter registration database with those of other relevant state agencies and county records for the purpose identifying any voter who has changed the voter's address of residence without notifying the county election commission.<br />
