Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 62; Title 63 and Title 68.

Present law lists the various duties of the Tennessee office for refugees ("office"). In addition to those existing duties, this bill requires the office to report to the secretary of state each agency, business, or person who contracts with a state or governmental entity, or a private entity, to transport undocumented aliens into this state.<br /> <br /> This bill requires the attorney general, and each district attorney general, to investigate each credible claim that an agency, business, or person has contracted with a state or governmental entity, or a private entity, to transport undocumented aliens into this state, including each report received by the office. If an investigated claim or report is verified, then this bill requires the attorney general to report the findings to the secretary of state.<br /> <br /> Upon receiving a report from the office or the attorney general, this bill requires the secretary of state to revoke the state business license, certification, or registration of the agency, business, or person, and to forward the report to each state and local governmental entity from which the agency, business, or person may hold a license, certificate, or registration to conduct business or engage in commerce in this state.<br /> <br /> This bill requires a state or local governmental entity that receives a report from the secretary of state to immediately revoke the license, certification, or registration of the agency, business, or person. However, such revocation is subject to administrative review in accordance with the contested case provisions under the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act.<br />
