Amends TCA Title 29, Chapter 34.

Present law provides that a charitable organization providing services to the community is not liable for a loss, damages, injury, or death that results from providing services, unless the charitable organization's conduct in providing services constitutes gross negligence or willful and wanton misconduct. Present law defines "services" as providing food; housing; or shelter from adverse weather.<br /> <br /> This bill clarifies that providing shelter from adverse weather includes, but is not limited to, allowing persons to enter the premises for purposes of temporary shelter from severe storms.<br />
