Amends TCA Title 39.
This bill generally provides that it is a Class B misdemeanor for a person to possess, with intent to go armed, an ammunition feeding device with capacity to accept more than 10 rounds of firearm ammunition ("large-capacity magazine") outside of the person's place of residence, place of business, or premises. However, this provision does not apply to the following:<br /> <br /> (1) Possession that is incident to the manufacture, sale, importation into this state, or purchase of a large-capacity magazine; or<br /> <br /> (2) Possession by any federal, state, or local law enforcement agency, for use by agency employees in the discharge of official duties, whether on or off duty, and where the use is authorized by the agency and is within the course and scope of the employee's official duties.<br />
