Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 10 and Title 57.

This bill requires a law enforcement officer investigating a motor vehicle accident resulting in the death of a person, and having probable cause to believe that the operator of a motor vehicle involved in the accident was driving under the influence of alcohol, to investigate whether the operator was served alcoholic beverages or beer at an establishment licensed to sell alcoholic beverages or beer for on-premises consumption. This bill requires the alcoholic beverage commission to be notified of the investigation and its result. This bill provides that a licensed establishment determined to have contributed to the operator of the motor vehicle being under the influence of alcohol through a violation of state law is subject to suspension or revocation of its license for a period of not less than one year.
